Mission Statement

Mission Statement:

Jewish Christian Seminary of Florida Inc. is a Torah observant Christian seminary devoted to accurately teaching the New Covenant and Hebrew Scriptures. The seminary desires to train people who believe Jesus/Yeshua is the Messiah.

Jewish Christianity focuses on the teachings of Jesus/Yeshua. One crucial teaching concerning the Hebrew Scriptures is Matthew 5:18-19: "Truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commands and teaches men so shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Therefore, Jewish Christians seek to live a life pleasing to G-d by following Torah principles through the lens of the teachings of Jesus/Yeshua. A personal relationship with Jesus/Yeshua, the Messiah, is needed through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches and guides the followers of Jesus/Yeshua in accord with the Holy Scriptures so that Jewish Christians are empowered to carry out the desires of G-d (HaShem). This Seminary believes living life according to the teachings of Jesus/Yeshua and by the leading of the Holy Spirit are essential for achieving HaShem's purpose, true satisfaction, the greatest good, and the best-lived life.

The mission of Jewish Christian Seminary of Florida Inc. is to promote Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah by (1) training future congregational leaders and laity concerning Jewish Christian living and (2) demonstrating to the local community the love of Jesus/Yeshua for them through caring, ethical behavior. Training others in Jewish Christian living, the Judaism of Jesus/Yeshua principles and practical demonstrations of love are promoted. Knowing your convictions and how to live those convictions in front of others is essential. Live by example emphasizing the way of Jesus/Yeshua: true faith and good deeds, including mercy, justice, and equality. Jewish Christians should support vocational training, proper healthcare, sustaining the environment, and food security where possible.

The leadership of every Jewish Christian organization should aid and instruct those who desire to live and learn the Judaism practiced by Jesus/Yeshua. The Hebrew Scriptures, Renewed/New Covenant, and members achieving their greatest potential are the focus. All members should work to foster an environment of love, fellowship, respect, and Scripture appreciation while promoting the existence of places of worship, religious activities, and ways for members to employ their God-given abilities to further God's plans.
